Each gorgeous item of Kiss The Sky clothing is hand made in Sri Lanka in support of schools and education throughout the south coast. The clothes are designed by Chloe and Madeleine Crewe-Read; sisters who spend a great deal of time in Sri Lanka. Through experience, the girls have developed fabulous items that are both beach chic and can carry you on into the early hours of the morning.
Our clothes are also available at the Peligoni Boutique shop (Greece), and Rafiki Travelling Boutique (London)
Kiss The Sky have had a wonderful first summer season, and are delighted to have already been able to donate money to Navajeevana disability charity in Tangalle, and also to the local temple school in Seenimodera, both in the Hambantota district in the south of Sri Lanka.
Navajeevana helps people with disabilities participate as a member of a non discriminatory society and with the help of physiotherapy and hollistic approaches, they help prevent further disability through education.
The Seenimodera Temple School is based on the main road into Tangalle, and is a very basic school, filled with children eager to learn. School can become expensive and lack of facilities can hold them back. With the money raised, we can successfully send each child to school for the next five months and allow them a notebook and colouring pencils to help them learn.
Your continued support to our clothing business means the world to us, and we would like to thank you for all your help this summer season 2010.
.....Coming soon, Autumn/Winter Collection 2010.
We hope you enjoy them.
